The majority of robot vacuums and mops can be customized with an application that allows you to save the maps of your home, set cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also adjust the suction power, and the amount of water your mop uses.

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, is packed with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in one session and even raise its mop pads and brushes to stop soft surfaces from becoming wet. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pets, plants and other small objects.
The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals which is higher than any other robot vac we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.
Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply constant pressure of over 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also has mop lifter which lifts the pad automatically when it changes between tile and laminate or hardwood flooring, as well as carpet or rugs, in order to avoid soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be cleaned and dried in the dock and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to replenish the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual vac- and mop-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power, and then returned to its base to recharge. This is within the range of the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is comparable with other hybrids that I've test.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The number of features make it an appealing choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford its price.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its robust feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It also comes with an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 euros, which is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift hair that is long without getting caught in. The mops were also great and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for the mopping function and even dry its mop pads for you. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.
The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris when compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. Additionally, its mops aren't as capable at scrubbing away staining that is as strong as those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station needs to be emptied and the dustbag and water tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to prevent mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately will require changing regularly.
I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a tight budget I suggest a more basic model that lets you to save money and enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's worth noting that even the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can buy however, its cost and constant maintenance will ultimately make it more of a want than a necessity.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop you require to get rid of messes and remove dirt from your floors. This powerful mop and robot vacuum combo comes with a strong suction power of 8,000 Pa and a huge battery capacity to power mopping and vacuuming, and top-notch obstacle avoidance. It comes with a roller-mop that is self-cleaning, making it stand out from other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a significant departure from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller covers the full width of the bot, and it is constantly filled with clean, ozonated water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is swept away with the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements and then pumped into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard holds plenty of water, and can handle a half dozen mopping sessions before running dry.
The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do other robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro needs to be filled with clean water. This is easily done using the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock, in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you opt for this option, however, you will have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaners.
As with most robots that are available, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It was stuck on carpets with thick piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides lots of features at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level vacuum and mop but it does have some impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag and refilling its water tanks, as well as cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is performed by the dock. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is perfect for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.
The software that runs the appliance is dense, and offers many options to customize the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area that this device maps or select individual rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient way to clean it.
The Qrevo performed well in our tests, like all the Roborock models we've tested. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in a neat way. The 'Normal" pathing settings cover a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as sophisticated as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets but it might not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels or electrical wires.
The most obvious flaw with this machine is the lack of a mop after vacuum option that could be a problem for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning with their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice feature, and it helps this robot make its clean better than its competitors with lower prices.
